How can SDSU Connects support your department?
SDSU Connects provides personalized student outreach to help your department connect with a large group of students in a timely and impactful way. Our team reaches out via phone calls and text messages using messaging tailored to your specific goals. We’re here to support your efforts by communicating with students clearly, helpfully, and intentionally. To ensure that outreach remains effective, we are mindful not to over communicate—we carefully space out campaigns so that each message is timely, relevant, and meaningful.

If you’d like SDSU Connects to support your initiative with individualized student outreach, please complete the Request Form for SDSU Connects Support Request Form for SDSU Connects Support. Be sure to allow at least five business days for processing. Please note: text messages must be 160 characters or less, as that is the maximum length we send.
SDSU Connects supports various campus wide initiatives. Below are some examples of campaigns and departments that have been supported.
- Outreach to students (non-Financial Aid) who have missed the tuition payment deadline. (supporting the Cal Coast Student Financial Center)
- Students with Immunization Holds preventing course enrollment. and Sp 2024 Enrollment Appointment (supporting Student Health Services)
- Outreach to students who have not registered in a timely manner for the next academic semester. for Sp 23 (supporting Enrollment Services)
- Students who have the EC hold - alcohol eCheckup to go hold preventing course enrollment.requirement (supporting Counseling & Psychological Services)
- Text reminders to new students to register for New Student Orientation (supporting New Student & Parent Programs)
- First year students who are missing a golden 4 requirement (Office of the Registrar) Students whose Cashier's hold was lifted and now can register for Sp23 (Cal Coast Student Financial Center)
